Couple Holding Hands

Relationships are at the heart of being human. No wonder when something goes wrong it can bring up feelings of  disconnection, confusion or distress. This can lead to emotional responses of resentment, rejection, anger and guilt.  It's key to positive mental wellbeing that we look to our relationships as priority.  They impact how we function in life, treat others and ourselves.

Supportive focus gives the opportunity to reflect on the relationship with clarity, to build a closer, happier connection.  Issues I have worked with include:

  • Communication difficulties

  • Conflict resolution

  • Relationship dilemmas

  • Affairs

  • Separation and divorce

  • Anger

  • Resentment

  • Transitions

  • Starting a family

  • Ill health

  • Depression

  • Attachment

Grief can feel completely overwhelming. Leaving you feeling like you're on the outside looking in, it can  seem as if you are no longer able to enjoy life.

Mindful of the highs and lows of emotions-  talking about death and dying can be intimidating and just the permission to begin this conversation can be such a source of relief.

Loss of any kind -  be it a job, a home, or even a dream can be felt in the same way as grief.

There is room to explore coping mechanisms and consider the practical elements around loss.

Anxiety is often overlooked and can be a real source of despair with debilitating physical and emotional symptoms.

We may explore and challenge negative thought patterns, and their link to strong emotions, as well as techniques to calm and strategies to adjust.

I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist with experience of clients presenting a wide range of anxiety disorders: agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, OCD and health anxiety.
